Up to Zero Bands
The Curfew were from Medina, OH. They were Up to Zero's last signing and they produced our first full length release, the amazing pop punk gem, "Standing Still". Can you imagine a pop punk album without a love song? We can, because we put it out.

Catch the Fallen were from the San Gabriel Valley in Southern California. They played a melodic, emotional style metal rock with female vocals. We put out their debut EP, "Without Romance". They came from the original Up to Zero band, Between Lines. They went through many line-up changes after the release of the EP, before breaking up permanently. They did later re-unite to put out an unreleased EP, that may see a digital release here someday.

Twice Defeated was one of the first bands on Up to Zero. They are from Chino, CA and never released anything on the label. They played a hodge-podge of punk styles and played most of our Up to Zero events. Who knows what these guys are doing now.

Five State Drive were the pop punk, dork kings of San Antonio, TX. George was an original supporter of Up to Zero, so of course, we signed his band. Their early material was really good, so we signed them and put them on the split with Viagravated, called, "If Life's a Joke, I Don't Get It". They broke up shortly after the release of the split, much like most Up to Zero bands.
Viagravated played post punk, alternative metal. Just the type of music you'd expect from PDX, or Portland, OR. We signed them up for the split with Five State Drive, called "If Life's a Joke, I Don't Get It". Shortly after that release, and their trip down to Southern California for Up to Zero Records Night at the Showcase Theatre in Corona, CA, they broke up. It's an Up to Zero Records ritual.
Between Lines, or BxL, was a band of good friends from the San Gabriel Valley. They grew up together and grew up with this label. They are all in different bands now, if in bands at all, but we remain friends with most of them. Where are you Layton? Anyways, they did record a lot of music and some of it might see a digital release someday on the label.
Up to Zero was also home to quite a few other bands, who didn't put out anything or spend any real time rocking out with the family. Our first signing was La Escuela from Ecuador, when we were still called Lost and Found Records. Our second signing was Serial Carpens from Northern California. They are actually on our first release, "All That Matters". They sort of disappeared on us. In the middle of our tenure, we signed Devenir from Southgate, CA. We did a few shows with them, but ultimately didn't put anything of theirs out. Late in our history, we planned on putting out a three-way split with Hope from Canada(awesome band and friends), Phinius Gage from England and Twice Defeated, but that never happened. We also had Devils Beget Stars for a bit, but they didn't do anything either. So, there you have a mini-history of Up to Zero Records.
